The artist

Aurélien Duvernay

A lover of art and French clockmaking, and founder of La Galerie Mécanique in 2026. I live in Lavacourt, a hamlet on the banks of the Seine, facing Vétheuil — the exact landscape Claude Monet painted in "Lavacourt under Snow". My street is named Promenade Claude Monet.

This closeness to art history infuses each of my creations: respectful steampunk reinterpretations of patinated copper, golden gears and steam, where the past meets a mechanical age that never was.
